was thinking about just in general standby orders. used to always make me impatient on the site. was thinking of a way to express our industry, hear the term stage wash associated with color allot so it came to mind. to me i can almost hear the lighting director / stage managers voices barking orders for crew to standby, and to wash stage red. everything stopped and we’ve all just been sitting, waiting for the standby to be over, waiting for the next part of the show.
